Welcome to the LaSalle Public Works Department web page. The Public Works Department is responsible for water, sewer, parks and streets in the Town's limits. The department takes great strides in providing the Town with quick response, and well-maintained parks and services. SEWERThe Town has its own sewer jetter and is on a regular maintenance program to try to prevent any problems. If you believe you are having problems with your sewer service, make sure to call the Town first. We will check to make sure the Town's main lines are clear so you don't incur any unnecessary charges. To help keep your lines as well as the Town's lines clear, refrain from putting any grease, rags, or other non-treatable products down the sewer. WATERCentral Weld County Water District (CWCWD) supplies the Town's treated water. The water is treated to assure us that strict regulations are met and provides the Town with the best possible quality of water. The Town meters the use of monthly water. High usage usually occurs during summer months by sprinkling of lawns, but can be caused by leaky faucets, toilets, or service lines. If you experience discoloration or bubbles in your water it is probably caused by either the Town or CWCWD working on their lines. It should clear up by allowing the water to run an extra couple minutes. Surprisingly, normal indoor use is as follows:
PARKSThe Town of LaSalle takes great pride in the appearance and maintenance of parks and ball field facilities. It is your responsibility to throw your trash into the trashcans and dumpsters provided by the Town. By Town ordinance, there are no dogs, or glass containers allowed in the parks. Please help keep the parks and facilities clean so others may enjoy them also. STREETSEach year the Town tries to budget enough money to repair a portion of its streets. The sidewalk, curb, and gutter are the responsibility of the homeowner. When repairs are necessary it is up to the homeowner to make the repairs. If a major street repair is pending on your street, someone from the Town may make contact with you so repairs will be done before the street project is started. The Town of LaSalle, is one of the few Towns that plow snow from most of their streets. By removing cars and trailers from streets during snowstorms will speed up the snow removal efforts.
